Post-lockdown activity restarts!
After a long period of inactivity caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and associated lockdowns, the Argyll & Lochaber Group is re-awakening.
This summer we hope to organise a few wildlife walks around the area and then in the autumn we will re-instate our winter talk series. All subject to whatever retrictions are in force at the time of course.
One big change is the introduction of the EventBrite booking system for all SWT events. This system deals with the advertising and administration of events, so we know how many people to expect and we are also able to produce a list of atendees if needed for 'Track and Trace'. The introduction of this system means that you will need to 'buy' tickets (some events are free) if you want to attend an event. One advantage is that it will make it much easier to get in touch if the event is postponed or cancelled. We will also send you a reminder just before the event with any last-minute changes. This is all new to us too, so bear with us while we get used to the system. We're starting with a wildlife walk around Taynuilt on 12th June, so here's the link to the event:https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/wildlife-walk-around-taynuilt-tickets-156679206725 Hoping to see some of you there!- Details
